Get ready for another spooky outdoor adventure that’s equal parts chills and campfire thrills! 🌲🔥 By day, we’ll hike, play, and sharpen our outdoor skills. But when the sun sets… the forest comes alive with eerie stories, haunted trails, and a few surprises lurking in the dark. 😱

Date and Times

Drop off: 5pm October 31st (we are having a tent setup class, please inform the host if you will be late.

Pick up: Before 10:30 am November 2rd


Location

The upcoming Annual Fright Night will take place at the group site Overlook in Shinleaf Campground at Falls Lake. The address is 13708 New Light Road, Wake Forest, NC North Carolina. You can also access the location details through this link.



Accommodations

Each child will be provided with a sleeping pad and a tent that can accommodate up to 3 kids. The campground is equipped with bathroom facilities for added comfort during the event. See below for items to bring.


Meals

On Friday night there will be a pizza party by the campfire. Saturday and Sunday mornings the children will be treated to a cozy breakfast, complete with hot chocolate, apple cider, pastries, fruit, and oatmeal. Saturday afternoon there will be a camp cooking class and the kids will make there own pasta dish. Saturday evening the kids will have an authentic campfire dinner where they can roast hotdogs and savor a variety of tasty side dishes. Throughout the event, an assortment of snacks and beverages will be available for them to enjoy.

Items to Bring

  • Sleeping Bag – As the temperature tends to dip during the night, it’s essential to have a properly insulated sleeping bag for a comfortable night’s sleep. If you’re in need of one, you can find a suitable option by following this link.
  • Warm clothes and hat
  • Shoes that may get dirty
  • Camping chair
  • A refillable water bottle – Drinking water is available, but please bring your own bottle
  • Pillow(s)
  • Flash light or head lamp
  • Personal items such as toiletries, medications, power banks for devices
